As the incoming Chair of the Disaster Committee, I would like to invite anyone interested in joining the committee to meet with us during the 30th Panamerican Congress of Trauma, Critical Care, and Emergency Surgery, being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel de Mexico (WTC) in Mexico City, Mexico.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in room "Mexico 5", at 12:30 pm. As the new chair, I would like to know what ideas/interest there is in focusing on Disaster response in Latin America. I would like to learn what the needs are, and how the PTS can help. This will be an important meeting to determine the future direction of the committee.

Como Presidente entrante del Comité de Desastres, me gustaría invitar a cualquier persona interesada en unirse al comité a reunirse con nosotros durante el 30° Congreso Panamericano de Trauma, Cuidado Critico, y Cirugía de Emergencia, que se llevará a cabo en el Crowne Plaza Hotel de México (WTC) en la Ciudad de México, México.
La reunión será realizada el miércoles, 29 de noviembre de 2017, en la sala México 5, a las 12:30 p.m. Como nuevo presidente, me gustaría saber qué ideas / interés hay en centrarse en la respuesta al desastre en América Latina. Me gustaría aprender cuáles son las necesidades y cómo la SPT puede ayudar. Esta será una reunión importante para determinar la dirección futura del comité.
